This video demonstrates the appropriate technique and interpretation of a dynamic stress examination under anesthesia of the hip in order to assess hip stability in patients with fractures of the posterior wall of the acetabulum. This procedure should be performed on all posterior wall acetabulum fractures that do not have a clear indication for surgical management in order to determine if operative or non-operative management is indicated.
