This is a case presentation and description of a surgical technique using a short intramedullary nail for fixation of a displaced, two part, proximal humerus fracture in a healthy, active, 63 year old female. We present a literature-based discussion and demonstration of this technique using intraoperative video taken from a first-person-vantage action-camera, radiography, and clinical images.
