In this video, we review the case of a 53 year-old male who presents with Brooker IV heterotopic ossification (HO) of the hip 2 years following a motor vehicle accident and subsequent fixation of multiple fractures around the hip and pelvis. Our technique of surgical excision of HO using intraoperative fluoroscopic guidance is hereby presented. Potential complications, postoperative rehabilitation, prophylactic measures, and clinical outcomes are also discussed.
